Justt finished shooting skittles... i got boredd and crushed up a bunch of them. it was hard to do with my lens because i couldnt get really close up enough without it getting to blurry. ittt also was a painn to light it inside and have a fast enough shutter speed soo it wouldntt blurr =//

Today in my digital photography class we went through a bunch of photos by different artist. One picture that specifically stood out to me was by Jerry Uelsmann. When i got home i googleed some of his stuff... its all pretty intense. What amazes me the most is that most of his stuff was done on film and edited in the darkroom. I find it hard to even imagine this being true after seeing some of the pictures he has done... they all look so imposssible and surreal to be pictures. ive always enjoyyed manipulating pictures in photoshop to make this look fake or surreal but to see someone do that in an actual darkroom blowww my mind o.O

FIRST BLOGG

Soo this is my first blog. i have to do a weekly blog for my photo seminar class. im majoring in photography at suffolk community college and this has been my first week of classes. so farr classes have been better then i have expected.it has been hard finding my way around but i think i know where all my classes are finally.i especially enjoy having my friends linette and allison in class with me<333
